Welcome to Hatfield Arkansas! Hatfield is located eleven miles south of Mena. Hatfield was founded at the time of the railroad
entry in 1896. The town was given it's name in honor of Sam Hatfield, who was killed in a blasting accident,
along with many others. Later, Sam's black felt hat was found in a nearby cornfield. Hatfield was a thriving little town and had much to offer with many shops, hotels and many other
stores. In 1938 much of the town was destroyed by fire on Jan. 16. Today, Hatfield Celebrates with it's annual
celebration. From the Colgate Country Showdown to the Jubilee in June there is something for all members of the family to
enjoy. For more history about Hatfield, you can call or stop by the Town Hall and see various photographs and Newspaper
articles.
We take an enormous pride in our community and its people, and hope
that you'll find something that you like. Come enjoy the down home hospitality of Hatfield call or email for more

We are looking forward to seeing you.
